Just a Sunny Day

Oggi è stata una giornata stupenda, tanto sole e zero nuvole, e il cielo su Roma era così limpido e azzurro che sembrava fosse già arrivata la primavera. Ho deciso allora di trascorrere un pomeriggio di libertà dallo studio con la mia amica Teodora… siamo andate allo store di Yves Saint Laurent, nel quale ogni volta raggiungo la pace dei sensi ammirando le varie tribtoo, borse, clutch e compagnia cantante, e dove Tea ha preso per sé uno strabellissimo arty ring (quello turchese, meraviglioso!). E poi siamo andate a goderci il sole al belvedere sul Colosseo, uno dei posti che preferiamo nella nostra Roma.

Today's been a glorious day, lot of sun and not a cloud, and the sky over Rome was so limpid and blue that it seemed like Spring was already here. I've decided to spend a study-free  afternoon with my friend Teodora... we've been at the YSL store, where I always reach the perfect happiness admiring tribtoo, purses, clutches and so on, and where Tea got the absolutely gorgeous turquoise arty ring. and later we ended up at the viewpoint over Colosseum, one of our favourite places in our little Rome..

hello people!!

how are you?

after months and months of cravings i've finally bought the awesome fantastic unique arty oval ring by Yves Saint Laurent! it's been quite hard to choose the right colour for the stone (which is made of glass), i was undecided between pink and turquoise, but in the end i've opted for the first one as you can see! i think it's very versatile, although it's so peculiar and eccentric. i look forward to using it in my outfits!!

dopo mesi e mesi di brame (e rosicate...) ho finalmente acquistato il fantastico unico bellissimo anello di Yves Saint Laurent! la scelta del colore della pietra (che è fatta di vetro) è stata dura, ero piuttosto indecisa tra rosa e turchese, e alla fine ho optato per la prima come potete vedere! penso sia versatile, nonostante sia un anello così particolare ed eccentrico! non vedo l'ora di indossarlo nei miei outfits!!

I've decided to dedicate this post to one of my favourite fashion designer, Alexander McQueen.
I like his style because it manages to be elegant and refined although it's so eccentric, unusual and absolutely innovative!

in the box above (that i realised with Polyvore) i gained all the items i prefer from his collections (which unfortunately i can't afford, at least in this moment ;) ).

ho deciso di dedicare un post a uno tra gli stilisti che preferisco, Alexander McQueen.
Adoro il suo stile perchè riesce a rimanere elegante e raffinato nonostante sia così eccentrico, inusuale e assolutamente innovativo!
nel box qui sopra (che ho realizzato tramite il sito Polyvore) ho raccolto gli articoli creati da McQueen che preferisco (sfortunatamente troppo costosi per me, almeno per il momento ;)).

there's my collection of Chanel nailpolishes!
they are all parts of the Chanel limited editions, and I absolutely love them! i think it worths to buy them (although their prize!) because of the uniqueness of their shades. of course a lot of other brands produce every time very similar shades, but Chanel's ones are all another story!!
now i'm after Particuliere, but it's really impossible to find... or maybe i've arrived a little bit too late! if you know some shops in Rome where i can found it tell me!

ecco la mia collezione di smalti Chanel! sono tutti parte di edizioni limitate, e li adoroo! credo che dopotutto valga la pena acquistarli (nonostante il prezzo!) per la loro assoluta unicità. certo un sacco di altre marche producono ogni volta tonalità molto simili, ma quelle di Chanel sono tutta un'altra storia!
al momento sono alla ricerca di Particuliere, ma è veramente impossibile da trovare... o forse sono arrivata un po' troppo tardi! se conoscete qualche negozio a Roma dove posso trovarlo fatemelo sapere!

other two of my favourite nailpolishes. I think the pink one (n.34 Deborah) is more suitable for summer, while the second ("Blue My Mind" by H&M) is perfect for every season, and it's the one I am wearing right now, as you can see in the next pic! I'm really in love with it!


Altri due tra i miei smalti preferiti. penso che quello rosa (n. 34 Deborah) sia più adatto all'estate, mentre il secondo ("Blue My Mind" di H&M) è perfetto per tutte le stagioni, ed è quello che sto utilizzando proprio in questo periodo, come potete vedere nella foto successiva! Lo ADORO!
