today i went in Rome city centre to buy the last Christmas gifts, but unfortunately i came across the new Zara store in Via del Corso, which is HUGE and extraordinarely AMAZING!

utterly modern and white, marvellous!

If I could i would have bought the whole building!

since it was impossible, i had to content myself with a pair of shoes only... that I LOVE!!!!

they're simple lace-ups, BUT bicolor, and i love their design, it reminds me the 50s!

oggi sono andata in centro per comprare gli ultimi regali e, sfortunatamente, mi sono imbattuta nel nuovo negozio Zara a Via del Corso, che è ENORME e meravigliosamente FANTASTICO!

tutto moderno e bianco, stupendo!

se avessi potuto avrei comprato l'intero edificio!

dal momento che non si poteva fare, ho dovuto accontentarmi di un solo paio di scarpe... che ADORO!

sono delle semplici stringate, ma bicolori, e adoro la loro linea, mi ricorda molto gli anni 50!

hello beauties!
I've decided to dedicate this post to one of my favourite fashion designer, Alexander McQueen.
I like his style because it manages to be elegant and refined although it's so eccentric, unusual and absolutely innovative!

in the box above (that i realised with Polyvore) i gained all the items i prefer from his collections (which unfortunately i can't afford, at least in this moment ;) ).

Adoro il suo stile perchè riesce a rimanere elegante e raffinato nonostante sia così eccentrico, inusuale e assolutamente innovativo!
nel box qui sopra (che ho realizzato tramite il sito Polyvore) ho raccolto gli articoli creati da McQueen che preferisco (sfortunatamente troppo costosi per me, almeno per il momento ;)).

there's my collection of Chanel nailpolishes!
they are all parts of the Chanel limited editions, and I absolutely love them! i think it worths to buy them (although their prize!) because of the uniqueness of their shades. of course a lot of other brands produce every time very similar shades, but Chanel's ones are all another story!!
now i'm after Particuliere, but it's really impossible to find... or maybe i've arrived a little bit too late! if you know some shops in Rome where i can found it tell me!

ecco la mia collezione di smalti Chanel! sono tutti parte di edizioni limitate, e li adoroo! credo che dopotutto valga la pena acquistarli (nonostante il prezzo!) per la loro assoluta unicità. certo un sacco di altre marche producono ogni volta tonalità molto simili, ma quelle di Chanel sono tutta un'altra storia!
al momento sono alla ricerca di Particuliere, ma è veramente impossibile da trovare... o forse sono arrivata un po' troppo tardi! se conoscete qualche negozio a Roma dove posso trovarlo fatemelo sapere!

other two of my favourite nailpolishes. I think the pink one (n.34 Deborah) is more suitable for summer, while the second ("Blue My Mind" by H&M) is perfect for every season, and it's the one I am wearing right now, as you can see in the next pic! I'm really in love with it!


Altri due tra i miei smalti preferiti. penso che quello rosa (n. 34 Deborah) sia più adatto all'estate, mentre il secondo ("Blue My Mind" di H&M) è perfetto per tutte le stagioni, ed è quello che sto utilizzando proprio in questo periodo, come potete vedere nella foto successiva! Lo ADORO!

Calendar Pirelli 2011

hello guys!!
I think you'll find my today's purpose very interesting: the PIRELLI Calendar for the 2011!
ok, of course i am not an usual follower of "artistic" calendars, but i'm sure i can do a polite exception for Monsieur... Karl Lagerfeld!!!
He entitled it "Mythology" because his aim was to convey the classic canons of ideal beauty, with loads of references to the classic sculpture... what to say? i've always been a blind lover of Karl and of the classical arts as well, so i've been fully contented!
moreover i love the use of the black&white, and of course the choice of the models, each of whom interprets a Greek divinity, for example Daria Werbowy (Artemis), Erin Wasson or Elisa Sednaoui (Flora). not to be forgotten the splendid guest star expressely invited by King Karl to personify the Queen of the Gods:
Julianne Moore.



Penso che troverete la mia proposta di oggi moooolto interessante: il Calendario Pirelli 2011!
ok, ovviamente non sono una fan abitudinaria dei calendari "artistici", ma sono sicura che riuscirò a fare una cortese eccezione per Monsieur... Karl Lagerfeld!!!
lo ha intitolato "Mythology", in quanto voleva esprimere i canoni della bellezza classica
ma riattualizzati (la magrezza delle modelle), con numerosi riferimenti alla scultura classica... cosa dire? sono sempre stata una cieca amante di Karl e delle arti classiche, quindi sono stata assolutamente soddisfatta!
ho adorato anche l'uso del bianco e nero per le foto, e ovviamente la scelta dei modelli, ciascuno dei quali interpreta una divinità greca, ad esempio Daria Werbowy (Artemide), Erin Wasson ed Elisa Sednaoui (Flora). da non dimenticare la splendida guest star voluta espressamente da King Karl per impersonare la Regina degli Dei:
Julianne Moore.

I simply love this picture of me, taken by my best friend during our holiday in Salento (Puglia) this summer! we were spending the last hours of a splendid sunny day on these rocks at the lighthouse... just a perfect place to dream watching the sunset! <3
